I will be brief as I am still in recovery. I haven’t had my legs waxed since December and had forgotten how painful it is. And, just to make a point, I had my brows tweezed at the same time. So much for the spa experience. Next time I’ll try something more relaxing, like waterboarding. No coffee, but into training up the hill, seriously flagging. Like I said, still in recovery…..
Entry forms arrived this morning. The good news (given my low/non-performance to date) is that there is a prize for the best fancy dress. And even in that category I don’t stand much chance (my Stephanie from Lazy Town is likley to be mistaken for a gender confused troll). But the important thing is that I am raising funds for the CF Trust. And, of course, I will have nice smooth (albeit slow) legs. So let’s keep things in perspective. Speed is overrated.
Tomorrow off for my (postponed) course (life coaching) in Heathrow leaving Little J with Ian. I have just looked up my homework. Basically, it is to plan every aspect of your entire life for the next five years (diagrammatically) and to read the first eighteen chapters of the presenter’s book. Prepared as ever, I am about to sink my teeth into a Thornton’s Continental and to admit catastrophic overwhelming defeat.
