Saturday morning on Old Shaw Lane

It is (amazingly) sunny this morning.

After breakfasting on pain au chocolats (curtesy of the Raymond Blanc-Tesco tie-in), J and Ian have headed off to explore the cycle tracks of the River Ray Park whilst I get down to some work. Hence, I am propped up in bed with my laptop keeping me warm as I contemplate what to put in Release 57 of Ruoff & Roper and whether I am developing some variant form of RSI.

Everything looks better in the sunlight. I can see the comings and goings down the lane from the bedroom window as I type and listen to birdsong. Bless.

The picture below shows the cottages. “Ours” is the one on the end (LHS). There is an interesting overview of the area at http://swindonhistory.blogspot.co.uk/2011/11/old-shaw-lane.html.

It really is very much a little oasis.
